My approach

I am synthesizing 25 years of personal and professional studies in non-ordinary consciousness with formal training in Somatics and Evidence-Based Treatment. My approach can best be described as Jungian-humanistic.

Why I love this work

I have deep empathy and a hard-earned capacity for the range of emotions. I know how lonely this journey can be at times and I love being able to hold space for people to flourish into the most authentic expression of themselves.

What I want for you

I want you to live the life that is meant for you, without guilt or shame. To feel worthy of pleasure. To be surrounded by the kind of supportive connections that nurture your continual growth and expansion.

My specialties, background, and personal interests

My specialties include addiction, trauma, queer issues, artist blocks. I have a PhD in psychology (then did my post-doc at Stanford University Medical Center). I have co-led mindfulness-based therapy groups at UCSF for a clinical research trial for 5 years. I’ve studied with shamans all over the world and integrate ancient wisdom with modern science in my work. My personal interests include art, travel and delicious food (cooking and eating)!
