My approach

I work collaboratively with clients to identify problems and solutions. My goal is to provide a non-judgemental space for client to express their emotions. My style is honest, empathetic, and solutions focused.

Why I love this work

Being a therapist provides me with an opportunity to help people in a transformative and meaningful way. I enjoy the process of guiding someone on a journey of the Self, while helping them to find knowledge and strength they never knew was there.

What I want for you

I want you to know, whatever challenges you are facing can improve. Therapy can often be a life changing experience. At the end of our sessions, my goal is to have helped you to reach a higher quality of life and love then you have been experiencing.

My specialties, background, and personal interests

My specialties include trauma, depression, relationship/intimacy issues, anxiety, and disability. I have worked for over twelve years in the Bay Areas mental health system. In these public health settings I worked with clients from many different cultural backgrounds. As a result I can say that working with clients who have diverse identities is a specialty I have as well.

As for my personal life, I am a father of twins first and foremost. Additionally, I love music, sing opera, enjoy sports, read, play video games, and try to stay present in community advocacy when I have the time.
