My approach

I have a down to earth and friendly approach to therapy, and my clients appreciate my humor and warmth. I use a mix of proven effective, evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy. This means that together we will explore the ways your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all influence each other. We will work to create more positive ways of thinking and being in the world. We will tap into your strengths and figure out what works for you and what doesn’t.

Why I love this work

I love being a source of unconditional support and encouragement for my clients. There can be a lot of loneliness when we are struggling with difficult issues. I am grateful to be there to accompany my clients while we work together through life’s challenges.

What I want for you

I want my clients to receive the support they need to discover more about themselves and deepen their connection to themselves and others. I want my clients to have the tools to overcome what is stressing them out and holding them back. Ultimately I want my clients to feel confident and capable, and able to enjoy their lives to the fullest.

My specialties, background, and personal interests

I am originally from Los Angeles but moved to Northern California over a decade ago and fell in love with the people and environment in the Bay Area. I am trained in both School Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy, and have practiced in schools, clinics, and community and home settings. I specialize in treating anxiety and relationship issues, and providing a laid back therapeutic environment that is warm, welcoming, and supportive. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, eating good food, spending time outside, and hanging out with my pug Benny.
