I am a licensed clinical psychologist with almost two decades of experience in therapy, evaluations, and risk assessments. I’m trained in neuropsychology and have worked extensively in multicultural mental health clinics and inpatient treatment settings. My work is grounded in the science of how trauma, systemic pressures — whether in family or broader social systems — and misalignment with core values shape brain functioning and psychological adaptation.
I provide therapy for adults with a focus on life transitions, meaning in life, and relationship trauma. I offer services in both English and Farsi, bringing cultural depth and accessibility to my work.
My approach underscores how navigating life transitions reorganizes neural pathways. I integrate evidence-based methods with meaning-centered and neuropsychology-informed perspectives. A central part of my work is helping clients strengthen their brain’s adaptability — the capacity to reorganize, recover, and build new pathways — while reconnecting with their core values and purpose.
My vision of mental health is as an interconnected system. I view psychological work not only as a process of individual adaptation but also as a contribution to the transformation and progress of the broader human community. With this connection to the larger context, mental health rises to its highest purpose.
