My approach

I am a compassionate listener who can hold a non-judgemental space for clients to share their beliefs, desires, and concerns. My focus is on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and complicated grief therapy. Sometimes we have to face our losses to be able to move forward, sometimes we have to confront our negative thoughts to clear our mind and focus on what is in front of us now. We try to cope with the world’s challenges based on the values and strengths we built during childhood, but there are many ways to rekindle our creativity and joy as adults to re-imagine a new path.

Why I love this work

I love creating a space where people feel comfortable to share their emotions and feelings, their fears and fantasies.

What I want for you

I want my clients to feel that their concerns are being listened to. I want to create a place of trust to guide you into a further understanding of your own reflections.

My specialties, background, and personal interests

I have worked as a medical social worker for most of my career. I am trained in working with grief, attachments, and relationship issues. I am currently receiving additional training on issues in childhood such as attention and learning differences, behavioral disorders, social issues, adjustment issues and family conflict.
