I practice through a client-centered, nonjudgemental lens and really emphasize building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. I really enjoy working one on one with people and getting to know them and their natural gifts and passions. I also enjoy working with families and providing psychoeducation for both my clients and their support networks. I also integrate interventions from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) depending on what the client needs.
I enjoy this work because I love to watch people grow and feel comfortable embodying their true selves. It is an honor to help support someone and journey side by side as they learn how to tackle life’s inherent struggles and setbacks.
My hope for you is to learn how to feel comfortable and prepared to navigate life’s various stressors. Together, we can work collaboratively toward setting and meeting your therapeutic goals. Ultimately, I want you to feel confident in your sense of self and to know that you are deeply supported.
My clinical training has mainly focused on working with children, adolescents, and their families in school settings through telehealth and in person sessions. I have worked in schools across the bay area in San Francisco Unified School District, Oakland Unified School District, San Leandro Unified School District, and have found that supporting clients with their mental health directly impacts how they show up at school and in life.
In addition to clinical work, I have a lot of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults through volunteer settings as well as being a nanny for families in Los Angeles and New York. I genuinely enjoy connecting and working with these age groups.
Prior to entering the field of Psychology, I worked in artist management in the music industry and love to bring creativity into my work and to help others foster their own creativity. When appropriate, you can also count on me to bring a little humor into the work.
