I work with adolescents and young adults that may be struggling with symptoms of depression and anxiety. My clients want to have a better understanding of themselves, their relationships, and their goals in life.

My approach

My approach is client centered, meaning that I will support you in exploring the topics and goals that feel important to you. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported in our work together.

Why I love this work

I got into this work, like many therapists, by first being in therapy myself. I’ve found it very helpful in my life and I want to offer that same support to others. I enjoy the freedom and openness that comes from building a successful therapeutic relationships with clients.

What I want for you

I want you to come away from therapy feeling more understood, kinder to yourself, and more content in your life.

My specialties, background, and personal interests

I started my professional clinical training in outpatient and partial hospitalization programs for adults, where I did individual and group therapy. Some of the groups I ran were Anger-Management, Mindful Cooking and Eating, and Music Appreciation. I also have experience doing crisis stabilization with teens as well as therapy and case-management for young adults with early psychosis.

I was born and raised in Berkeley and then spent four years in Santa Fe, NM, for my Bachelors degree. In my undergrad program I studied Philosophy and The History of Math and Science, so I’m always interested in talking about interesting books, shows, or ideas. In my free time I like to cook, play video games, and play music.
