My approach

My approach is client centered, meaning that I will support you in exploring the topics and goals that feel important to you. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported in our work together.

Why I love this work

I got into this work, like many therapists, by first being in therapy myself. I’ve found it very helpful in my life and I want to offer that same support to others. I enjoy the freedom and openness that comes from building a successful therapeutic relationships with clients.

What I want for you

I want you to come away from therapy feeling more understood, kinder to yourself, and more content in your life.

My specialties, background, and personal interests

My clinical training has been in intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program for adults, where I saw people individually and ran groups. Some of the groups I ran were Anger-Management, Mindful Cooking and Eating, and Music Appreciation. I also have experience doing crisis stabilization with teens as well as therapy and case-management for young adults with early psychosis.

In my personal life: I was born and raised in Berkeley and then spent four years in Santa Fe, NM, for my Bachelors degree. In my undergrad program I studied Philosophy and The History of Math and Science, so I’m always interested in talking about interesting books, shows, or ideas. In my free time I like to cook, play video games, and play music.
