About
My clients are adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and ADHD. I especially enjoy working with young adults as they navigate major life changes, individuals adjusting to new seasons of life, and mothers experiencing the emotional challenges of pregnancy and the postpartum period. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about their next steps. They want to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, improve their relationships, build confidence, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life. I strive to provide a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported, empowered, and equipped to make meaningful, lasting change.
My Approach
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I integrate CBT and DBT with a strong psychodynamic foundation to help clients better understand not only what they’re experiencing today, but also where those patterns may have originated. Together, we explore early life experiences, family dynamics, and intergenerational patterns that may continue to influence thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors. By increasing insight while also building practical coping skills, I help clients create meaningful, lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and move toward the life they want to live.
Why I Love This Work
I became a therapist because I’m passionate about helping people create lasting change. I believe that healing goes beyond reducing symptoms—it means understanding the deeper roots of our struggles, breaking free from generational patterns, improving our relationships, and learning healthier ways to navigate life. I love helping clients recognize their strengths, develop new perspectives, and make meaningful changes that improve their day-to-day lives. Watching someone gain insight, rebuild confidence, and experience greater peace and fulfillment is what makes this work so rewarding to me.
What I Want For You
My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow. I want you to leave each session with greater insight, practical tools, and confidence in your ability to create meaningful change. Whether you’re healing from past experiences, navigating a major life transition, or learning to manage anxiety, ADHD, or postpartum challenges, my goal is to help you build a life that feels more peaceful, connected, and aligned with the person you want to be. I believe lasting change is possible, and I would be honored to support you on that journey.
My Specialties, Background and Personal Interests
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, and postpartum adjustment. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and have experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through a variety of challenges. I utilize an integrative approach that combines CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy to help clients build coping skills, understand underlying patterns, and create meaningful change. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, practicing yoga, and exploring ways to support overall wellness and personal growth.
