About
I specialize in youth, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating life transitions, grief, trauma, codependency, and/or stress and anxiety. My goal is for clients to face change with compassion for themselves while finding tools that help them with stress and anxiety symptoms.
My Approach
I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and client-centered techniques that meet folks where they are. I believe in collaborating with my clients to find solution-based outcomes and will meet them with a non-judgemental, safe, and trauma-informed landing pad. We will sit in the uncomfortable together, while exploring what works for you.
Why I Love This Work
As someone who also struggles with anxiety, therapy was extremely helpful for me to understand my coping tools and triggers. I love being that support for clients, and feel honored to be able to learn from them as well.
What I Want For You
I want you to feel empowered in the therapy process while being able to explore different tools, and theories that can assist you in creating lasting change in your life. My hope is for you to feel safe enough to explore how you can reach a higher quality of life.
My Specialties, Background and Personal Interests
Previously, I have worked with low-income youth and families in the San Francisco/Bay Area for over a decade. My background is working with youth and young adults experiencing grief, trauma, and life transitions. I am interested in working with individuals who are struggling with stress, low self-esteem, co-dependency, and anxiety. My personal interests include traveling, cooking, reading, binging on reality TV, and walking my dog, Jolene.
